Key Support Liaisons are trained, commander-appointed volunteers who help connect military families with unit information, community, and support resources. They serve as a bridge between families and the squadron, helping strengthen communication and family readiness.

Established in 1943 as the 740th Bombardment Squadron, our squadron’s roots reach back to World War II service in Europe. Today, at Minot Air Force Base, the 740th supports around-the-clock Minuteman III operations and the 91st Missile Wing’s strategic deterrence mission. Our Key Support Liaisons connect spouses, partners, and loved ones with squadron information, events, and support.

The 740th was constituted on May 14, 1943. Its World War II campaign honors include service across Europe, from Italy to the Rhineland and Central Europe.
